Project 2007 Changes Resource Timephase

When we open a Project 2003 schedule in Project 2007 it changes the resource
profile.

We are using the schedules as forecast only and have all future work after
the status date. When we open them in 2007 it moves some resource timephased
data back to the start of the task.

I know there is a problem with the task elapsed duration not being
calculated in 2003 but not sure that it is the same problem.

Anyone any ideas as it is giving us bad data?

Are the calendars the same in Project 2003 and 2007? What about non-working
time?

Thanks for the quick reply.

We are using a resource pool so I guess they are the same but not entirely
sure. I will check.

However, to go into a bit more detail, I have a management task with two
resources on it. One resource timephased data stays where it was and the
other one moves back to the start of the task!

Not sure if that helps any....
