We are running Project 2007 and Project Server 2007. Both are at the SP2 level.
Whenever we attempt to add a deliverable through Collaborate --> Manage
Deliverables everything works until we click "done." At that point the
application says it has encountered a problem and needs to close. The error
signature appears below.
Error Signature:
AppName: winproj.exe AppVer: 12.0.6423.1000 AppStamp:49b0d864
ModName: mshtml.dll ModVer: 8.0.6001.18812 ModStamp:4a631d43
fDebug: 0 Offset: 002543a2
This is appearing on multiple workstations as well as across all the
projects. We are running Symantec AntiVirus.
This use to work and then all of a sudden this error started occurring. I
even ent back to the original 2007 release and it would do the same thing
there. I've done multiple reinstalls of MS Project to no avail.
One interesting thing is when we restart MS Project and check out
deliverables list the new deliverable that we created is actually there. It's
even in the deliverable list in the project workspace on Project Server. I
could live with this if we had few deliverables but we are working on a
project that has 60+ deliverables that need to be listed. Restarting after
each "done" is not a reasonable workaround.
I'm wondering if anyone else is encountering this issue or if anyone knows
of a solution. I thought I'd check the newsgroup before opening an incident
with Microsoft.
Any help would be appreciated.
