Project 2007 in an Office 2003 Environment?

I am considering deploying Project 2007 in my Office 2003 environment, on my
PC. Is this flawed from the start or destined for success? Thank you, in
advance, for your feedback/insight(s)!

Project 2007 interoperates with the Office 2003 suite (Excel, Word, Access,
PPT, etc) without any problems that I have noted. I haven't read any horror
stories here either.

Looking at Project and Project Server is a different story.... you have to
stick with the same versions: Project Professional 2003 talks only to
Server2003. Project Professional 2007 talks only to Server2007. No
mix-n-match there.

If you are upgrading stand alone versions of MS Project2003 to 2007, just
make sure your 2003 is fully up to date prior to install of 2007 if you plan
to keep both versions on the same machine.

There is no reliance on other 2007 products with the exception of Visio 2007
if you choose to use the visual reports feature and export to visio.
