Hi All,
I have done much research on this and still can't get it fixed, but have
it pinned down to Vista. Here is the deal... I had the IT folks at work
install Project 2007 on my work computer. I then bought an a copy for home
and installed it. At work the Project 2007 (standard version) has an
Analysis Toolbar under the View command. It is missing on my home computer.
I tried the COM Add-Ins trick and it did not show any addins anywhere. Both
versions of Project are the same. I tried reinstalling the program,
reinstalling it as administrator, and reinstalling it with UAC turned off.
No luck. Thinking that maybe I had a different version of Project, I
installed it, just for fun, on my laptop computer - guess what??? the
Analysis Toolbar showed up. The only real difference between the two
machines is that my laptop is running Windows XP Home and my desktop is
running Vista Home Premium (32bit).
Does anyone know of a fix. I need the Analysis Toolbar to complete a course
that I an taking that directs me to use it. Thanks & Cheers.
