Project 2007 Professional crashes

When attempting to save a change in MS Project 2007 Professional the system
crashes and gives an error: Exception Information Code: 0xc0000005, Flags:
0xc0000000. The error message also references the following two files:
836062.cvr and 836093.od. I tried making a change to a different project
file, but Project crashed again. I also tried the "Repair" utility...no luck.
THEN....I un-installed MS Project and re-installed it....STILL SAME PROBLEM !

What does all that mean ? How can I prevent Project from crashing ?

I uninstalled and reinstalled...same problem...then tried opening the file
with Project 2003...seemed to work OK, but then later discovered missing data.

Any ideas ?
