Project 2007 Professional for program resource management

G

Guy

Is it advisable to use Project Professional 2007 (by lacking of Project
Server) for (human) resource management for a program of projects?
There is at this time no need for multiple users accessing this info.

Thanks.

Certainly. You can use the Shared Resources functionality. Tools
Resource Sharing > Share Resources.

Read Help to understand how to create and manage a shared resourc
pool.

Good luck!

The only thing the Professional version of Project 2007 will get you is
access to a Project 2007 Server if there is one installed.

Otherwise, the Professional and Standard versions both have the same
functionality. If you have the opportunity to save some money, the Standard
version will do you nicely.
