how can I find out how many days are left in my trial period.
If it runs out and I want to run a new trial will I have to reformat my

Hi HOGAN,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I don't know the answer to your first question, but you cold try Help/About
to see if it's recorded there. I would also expect Project to tell you when
you have only a few days left.

As to your second question - Project hides its reference to the 60 days
somewhere, probably in the registry. So the only way I can see to cheat the
system and avoid paying the price is to reformat the computer, recovery from
which could cost you a lot more in time than the purchase price. A trial
version is just for that - a trial. When you've decided, buy or uninstall.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
