Project 2007 Timesheet Approval

Hi,
I need to be able to have administrative timesheet entries approved by
timesheet managers, BUT, all non admin time can be automatically approved.
Ido not have the fixed approval setting checked. I do have a timesheet
manager's name in the user profile. How can I set this so that only
administrative entries are forwarded to timesheet manager for approval, but
other tasks are not?

The purpose of the Timesheet functionality is to allow a Timesheet Manager
to approve ALL time spent on project work, non-project work, and nonwork.
Hope this helps.

Project Time must be approved before it gets recorded into the project plan,
but you can make non project time on the timesheet automatically approved (as
you are probably already doing).

When a user submits time (using timesheets) spent on real projects the hours
DO NOT get routed to the project owner. Instead the hours go into this limbo
state until the user uses the "Import Timesheet" function on My Tasks. That
flows the time from timesheet tables into the assignnment tables. Then the
hours can be submitted like normal. Hope that helps.
