Project 2k on XP Prompts for WINDOWS XP SP2

I have an IBM Think Pad running Windows XP SP1, Office XP SP2.
I am trying to install Project 2000 (Licensing prevents from
installing Project 2002)
The install prompts to insert my "Windows XP Service Pack 2 CD".
Obviously, I don't have one. Knowledge base does not address this.
Any clues?
Thanks in advance.

Re-read the error message. Is it asking you to insert the XP *Office*
Service Pack 2 CD?

Obviously, I made certain of that before I posted to this forum. :)
(besides, having TRIED to use that CD about a half a dozen times, and
then after re-reading the error message, realizing it was NOT asking
for the Office SP 2 CD, rather, the Windows XP SP 2 CD)

However, upon further investigation, it seems while Service Pack 2 is
still in beta stage, there are several updates in a package called
'rollup' or something similar that I had to install one by one because
the 'package' would not install.

When I went to 'Add and Remove' programs, I found about 6 'Service
Pack 2' updates. I suspect they are from the individual installs of
updates.
Will update status as soon as I know if that 'solved' my problem or
not.
Thanks

Well, as they say, "Never overlook the obvious" and I did. Since
installing Project 2000 also includes the option of installing Office
Tools, it was necessary to DESELECT all Office options and install
ONLY the application itself. Since Office XP was already installed on
the machine, the attempt to install any office tools from the Project
2000 CD conflicted with existing files. Guess I can say "I learned
from that."
Thanks!
