Project 98 & 2000 won't run

Recently installed Project 2000 w/ SR1 on XP, but program will not open up
fully. There's a Planning Wizard window that's blank and then a window
titled Microsoft Project behind it that's blank. I close the Planning
Wizard window but then have to close Project via the Task Manager. I've
tried a few reinstalls, but nothing. No virus software running either.

I then uninstalled Proj 2000 and installed Proj 98, but it won't finish
opening either.

Any suggestions?
