Project 98 compatibility

Will Microsoft 98 be compatible with Windows 2000? I
recently switched computers and upgraded from Windows NT
to 2000.

Becauses of the Blaster worm I had to wipe my C drive and all my
applications now need to be reinstalled. The guy who wiped my drive and
reinstalled W2KPro which I need for the CAD I run changed the file type from
NTSF to the other one whatever that is and no other changes were made. Now
I can't reinstall Project 98, I get an out of memory error message. Is this
due to the change of file formats?
