project 98 start date

how come in a specific project the adjust start date will
not correctly adjust the start dates when it will in other
projects. we tell it to go with 10-20-03 and it changes
to 10-28-04 can anyone help? thanks

Have you got fiscal year set to other than January?
(tools/Options.../Calendar tab)
