Project accessibility to projects other than my own....

I am defined on Project Server as a Project Manager and a Project Manager
only, yet I can see, access and modify projects that are not mine (ie owned
by other project managers). I cannot see all projects, but only a couple.

What could cause this scenario? I am only defined as a member of the
Project Manager group, and I'm not a resource on the project, nor any kind of
Administrator.

Any insight would be great!

Thanks.

The My Projects category determines which projects you can see in Project
Server. By default, the My Projects category says that a project is "Your
Project" if it meets one or more of the three following conditions:

1. The project is managed by you
2. You are a team member of the project
3. The project includes team members that you include as team members in
your own project

Would #3 be the potential cause of your situation? Let us know.

Dale,

I can see your logic, and it certainly makes sense, but one of the projects
I see in Project Server (File/Open) is a one line project with NO
resources/team members assigned to it. I'm not the PM of that one either, so
theoretically shouldn't the PM be the only one with access to it?

As for the second project I can see, it's more typical. I do manage a
project that have those team members in it.

Were you the one who created the one line project, even if someone else is
now managing it? Or has your Project Server administrator changed the
default permissions to allow PM's to see that one line project? Let us
know.
