Hi,
I have a typical Project file containing a production schedule for books in
the publishing industry. I also have an Access database containing all the
components that make up those books that are on the production schedule.
When I'm positioned on a particular task in the Project file, I want to be
able to launch Access (maybe click on a hyperlink, or a button on a form or
toolbar etc) and have Access open and run either a query or form/query or
report/query that displays all the records related to that task.
If I can do that, can I also pass a parameter to the query from Project?
I've written a lot of VBA in Access, but not in Project. I'm not an
engineer, but I can write some code.
I know I can dump the Project database into Access and go from there, but
this client wants to do it from Project.
Thanks in advance for your input.
