Project and multiple milestones on same line / modelling levels

Chris

I am looking for a way to place more than one milestone on a single task
line? Background: I have modelled the schedule and have 10% / 50% / 90%
confidence values against each task finish date and would like to show this
information on my gantt chart. I'm using ms project 2003 professional and
have 2003 project server available.

Many thanks in advance

Hello Chris,

You can create additional bar styles in views to show additional
information. Translate your confidence values into dates and populate
one of the spare date fields (Finish1, Finish2, etc) with your estimated
task finish dates.

In the Format > Bar Styles dialog box, insert a new row and create the
bars for each finish estimate. Set the From and To to Finish1, select a
style you like from the Start and End Shapes list.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

The hint for creating multiple milestones on same line was also useful for me. Now the questions is, it is possible to define one of the milestones on a line as precedessor for another milestone on another task line. Still working with MS Project 2003 ...

thanks for hints, Thomas
