Project and SQL Server

Hallo,
I am not very experienced in project and like to know something about
Project in connection with Microsoft SQL Server.
What I want to do is:
- Import human Resources from SQL Database into Project
- Export project data into SQL Database.
What is the best way to start?
Are there any good books, online tutorials, sample applications?

Hi !!

The best way to insert data into Project Server is using its web services,
called PDS (Project Data Services).

I think you should make a little application which takes data from your db
and send it to Project Server.

I'm assuming you are talking about Project, and not Project Server.
Read the file projdb.htm which is installed into the Project program
folders on your PC. This documents the database format. From that you
can figure out the data format for exporting and important data. You
may will wish to engage the services of an experience database programmer.
