Project automatically adds/changes dependencies when tasks moved

Does anyone know how to stop MS Project from doing this? Here's an example:

Let's say I have five tasks called Monday - Friday
Each task (day) is dependent on the previous one
I would expect that if I moved say Wednesday (which is a succesor to Tues)
to either the start or end of the WBS, that the Wed Task would still honor
the original dependency on Tuesday. however, it does not.

Steve,
Well, it will, you just need to make sure your options are set up
properly. Although I don't have Project open at the moment, go to
Tools/Options and as I recall, either the View tab or the Schedule tab.
Check the option to allow moved or inserted tasks to be linked. Task
location within the total Project has nothing to do with task
dependencies.

Hope this helps.

Yes, John, it's in the Schedule tab and the exact wording is: "Autolink
inserted or moved tasks".

Thanx Mike, I guess my memory is still pretty decent :)
