Project Available to ALL PMs

hi,
how to i make a project available to all PMs? as an admin i want to upload
a project that ALL the PMs can open in MS Project. please help.

Create a custom Category in PWA that includes only this particular project
and then add the custom Category to the Project Managers group. Hope this
helps.

hi dale,
i tried this approach and i was unable to see this particular project under
the PMs name in either their PWA or MS Project. under MS PRoject i tried to
open this file but was unable to find it. please help.

When you create the new Category, you have to add it to the Project Managers
group. I assume you did this, but that is not enough. On the Category page
for the new custom category you created, there is a section called Users and
Groups. In this section is a data grid called Permissions. In the
Permissions grid, you must select the Project Managers group, and then set
the permissions that you want your project managers to be able to do with
this one project. Do you want them to see the project in the Project Center
center page, open it in Microsoft Project, save it in Microsoft Project, or
what? You must set these specific permissions to Allow and then your prople
will be able to see the project. Hope this helps.
