Project Center for PC

Does anyone know if MS is planning to add Project Center to Outlook like
they have to Entourage in Mac Office 2004. Project Center looks outstanding
and exactly what is missing in Outlook. If you haven't seen it check it out
here:

You'd have to ask in the Outlook (windows) groups - but if they know they
can't tell you. It was announced at Macworld as a Mac first feature - maybe
it will get to Outlook in 2-3 years, next release. But it probably wouldn't
look so nice on Windows. (If you mean Outlook Mac, all development stopped
there 2 years ago when OS X came out. So no.)

Hi

I think you can get some of the functionality of the new Center using
existing Windows technologies, such as SharePoint Portal Server and
Information Server.

Windows users will have to wait until "Longhorn" is released to see
functionality like the Entourage document linking. There's no firm release
date announced for Longhorn, but sometime in 2006 seems to be bantered about
in the press a lot.

Windows users do not have to wait until Longhorn is released to try out the
Center's features. There are no prohibitions to keep Windows users from
using Macintosh computers during the intervening years.
