Project Center Grouping

Hi,

I created a custom field with a lookup table, and then created a view
in project center that groups my project by this field.

Now i added some description in the value for the lookup field, when i
return to the project center view the values showed in the view are
the description and not the Values.

Is this the expected behaviour? If not is there any solution to my
problem?

Hi, yes this is the expected behavour.

Can you explain why this is the expected behaviour?

In my logic if we use a description this is just for complementing the
information presented in the value, not the info that should appear in
the view.

Also i have been making some test in a machine with old Activex and
the result is what i expected, the view is grouped and the values is
display not the description.
