project center: not able to see sub projects inside a master proje

T

Tina

I have Project Server 2007 installed. Then created a master project (contains
some sub projects) in Professional and then published the master project.
When I click the master project in the project center, not able to see any
content. I think the sub projects should be displayed.
Please help. Thanks!

You need to publish each of the subprojects individually. Hope this helps.

Hi Tina,

when you publish all those sub projects, you have to select "Provision
the workspace as a sub-project workspace of another project? " option.
select the Master Project from dropdown.

By doing this, all those sub projects will be appeared as child
projects in project center.

Thanks
Chak

Your information is incorrect. The "Provision the workspace as a
sub-project workspace of another project" only concerns how to create the
WSS site and subsites for a master project and its subprojects. Hope this
helps.

You can follow these steps:

a) Create the mater project in MSP2007 and publish
b) Create proposed sub projects in MSP2007, save and publish workspaces
under master workspace
c) Open Master and import projects as subs

If you also want to create subworkspaces under master workspace you should
follow Chak's advice. But, as Dale suggests that is another issue and has
nothing to do with Project Center...

If I am not mistaken, Tina is talking about seeing the subprojects in the
Project Center page. Your solution does not solve her problem.
