Project Center questions

I'm very interested in the Project Center of the new 2004 Entourage.
If it's as good as I think it can be, I can imagine an entire website
set up for those using this feature. It could be the holy grail of
those who've read David Allen's Getting Things Done, those who have
used Franklin/Covey's time management ideas, or anyone trying to keep
their hectic life in order.

I'm stumbling around with it currently. I've read the $5 eBook by Tom
Negrino (http://www.tidbits.com/takecontrol/), but still many
questions. Here are my latest queries:

1. Has anyone figured out how to add a clipping into a Project from a
non-Office application? Here's what I've tried so far: I highlight and
copy text from a website (for instance); I go to an existing Project,
click on Clippings tab, and try pasting into the the various windows.
I've also tried doing that through the menu: Tools: Scrapbook, but the
Paste command there is grayed out. The MacZealot article says that
this is possible (from a non-Office app), so I'm guessing I'm almost
there but haven't figured out the trick.

2. I'm wondering what to do with emails that come into ones Inbox that
need to be associated with a Project. I read them, realize that they
need to be associated with an existing Project, and then right click
and get it assigned to that Project. But then what does one do with
that email? I don't think the Project Center makes a copy of the
email, and places it in a folder somewhere. So, currently, I'm
thinking that the best way is to create a folder, called Projects, and
the subfolders for each Project, and then manually drag each email
into its assigned Project folder.

Is that how you all are doing it?

Last, if anyone has seen documents or other tips written up on the
Project Center, please pass on the links.

Many thanks!

I'm not sure there's a seamless way to do it. One possibility is to copy for
the other program, paste into an Office document (like a Word doc), then
select what you just pasted and you should be able to add it.

Your best bet is to create an e-mail watch folder for the project and then
move messages that are a part of that project to the watch folder. A
project tag on any item is just that; a tag. The item can still reside
wherever you want it to, so you can even leave it in the Inbox if you want.
