Project Center - View a Project Problem

Hello,

I am currently testing Project Server to see how it can be used in my
organization. I have published several test projects to the server. When in
Project Centre, if I click on the specific project to view the project, I am
unable to view its details. I get the following message:

There is no information to display in this view

Either the project manager has not published the project plan or there is no
information in the project plan to display.

The projects have been published and contain information. Does anyone have
any insight as to what I might be doing wrong??

Thanks!

Check to make sure that you have Project Views for the details (as opposed to
Project Centre views). Also make sure that you are in a catagory that is
authorized to see the view.

Thank you for your response,

I am in all categories and groups for the moment.

Do you think that might be why I cant view the projects?

Thanks again!

Can you open the project from the server (NOT from a file)? - just checking
it is actually saved and published

You can also go to the admin page, and click on the 'Clean up Project
Server' link to see if the server has it registered as a saved project

Worth checking before anything else.

Is it safe to assume that the project view that you want to use to display
the details includes the appropriate category?

Was your plan published with Summary only (i.e. Collaborate/Publish/Publish
Plan/Summary)? If so you need to either publish plan (summary & details) or
publish everything.
