Hi,
I have a couple of questions - hope you don't mind me posting them together
PART 1 - Here, every project needs to have a Sponsor allocated to it (using
an enterprise project outline code) before it can be published. I know I can
group by Sponsor in a view, but what I would like is to be able to have a
project center view which automatically filters on Sponsor if the current PWA
user is in the Sponsors lookup list, else just group by Sponsor. I can see
how to set up a default filter in PS2003 but have no idea if there is a value
I can use to test for the current user. If anyone has some ideas I'd be
grateful (besides hopefully, the sponsors).
PART 2 - Does anyone know of a way in which updated resource hourly rates
could be updated externally (e.g. XLS). We are maintaining resources in
project server using AD but I am told we do not hold the hourly rates in AD
(sounds reasonable) so I am looking elsewhere for a way to maintain the full
set of rates in place of some tedious data entry.
Many thanks! Pete
