Project Center View in PWA is not being Updated

Hi, I am new to Project Server 2003 and am having trouble with the Web Access
component not updating a project after it has been changed and re-published.
The viewdrop directory is empty and I have SP2a installed on the server.

These are the errors I'm getting in the event log each time I publish. I'd
appreciate any advice on whats happening here! Thanks (and sorry for the long
post - just wanted to put all the info out there)

Gary L. Chefetz [MVP]

There are a couple possibilities or perhaps a couple of things working
together here. Let's start by eliminating a particularly nasty source of 0x5
errors, which is to eliminate the dash in the name of this project. You can
use either the project renaming tools available for download from Microsoft,
or you can save the project to a file, delete the original from the server
and then import under a different name. Backup before you do any of this.

Gary,

Thanks for your response; however, the error ended up being the result of
an SQL Server related problem that was created after the server was moved to
a new location. All is working now... however, we plan to not use dashes in
project names per your suggestion.

I suspect that the solution was to correct what they broke during the SQL
move. It probably doesn't apply to your situation.

Thanks for your response; however, the error ended up being the result
of
an SQL Server relatedproblemthat was created after the server was moved
to
a new location. All is working now... however, we plan to not use
dashes in
project names per your suggestion.

There are a couple possibilities or perhaps a couple of things
working
together here. Let's start by eliminating a particularly nasty source
of 0x5
errors, which is to eliminate the dash in the name of this project.
You can
use either the project renaming tools available for download from
Microsoft,
or you can save the project to a file, delete the original from the
server
and then import under a different name. Backup before you do any of
this.

Hi, I am new to Project Server 2003 and am having trouble with the
Web
Access
component not updating a project after it has been changed and
re-published.
The viewdrop directory is empty and I have SP2a installed on the
server.

These are the errors I'm getting in the event log each time I
publish.. I'd
appreciate any advice on whats happening here! Thanks (and sorry
