Project center view sorting

MSP Server 2007 question

I need to have a project show up in the Project Center that is based on two
fields being sorted (production line # and start date). Dale has said that
only one field can be sorted for each view. Has anyone figured out a way
around this? I am more than open to other ways to present the information
besides in Project Center. But this would seem to be the logical place. I
have tried different analysis views to no avail.

Thanks for any help!

Hello Todd,

You can sort based on one group only, but what you could potentially do is
group the projects together that is you can group by production line # and
then sort by date.

One more thing you can look at is educating the user on how they can sort a
column when they working by clicking on the column name in project centre.

Let us know if that will work for you.

Dave

Thanks for the recommendation, however, I did try those and it did not work.
Do you know how Server sorts as the default? When it looks at a project, how
does it know how to display it? The view in Server of this project, without
any sorting or grouping, does not look anything like the one that comes up in
the desktop version.
