Project Center View

PS 2007, SPI and Infrastrucutre update.

When any users login to PWA they can see their tasks, resources etc (based
on permission). However everyone can also get access to Project Centre and
see all projects. I would like to restrict this so that they can only see
Projects they are part of. There is no need for team Members to see all
enterprise projects. Is this possible, without disabling the project centre
view totally.

Thanks.

Hi, Shahid,

It is possible, sure. In Manager Category from Server Settings, you can
define who can see what projects and which resources, it is role_based
settings. Hope it helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Thanks. Can you be more specific; in server settings do I do this in Manage
Groups or Security Templates. Note, I wish to do this for Team Members only,
objective is to enable team members to see Projects in Project Center that
they are assigned to.

Thanks.

1- Create a new Category in <PWA-Server Settings-Manage Categories>, for
example 'Team Members', to define which projects and resources and views can
be seen.
2- Assign this category to your Team Member Group in Manage Groups.
