Project Center

In Project Center in Project Server 2007 when I click on the project to have
it display the tasks within the project the systems does not respond.

I have three projects viewable in the project center and all functions on
the toolbar are working however, I thought that when you click on the project
name it displayed the tasks within the project. Am I mistaken?

Thx.

This appears to be an issue with the ActiveX control. Does anyone know how
to uninstall it and download a new copy?

from the command line run

regsvr32 /u filename.dll

the files you'll need to unregister are

pjgrid12.ocx
pjprint12.dll
prquery12.oxc
pjres12c.dll
prtextconv12.dll
pj12xxxc.dll where xxx is your language code. ie pj12enuc.dll is english

Also, have you checked the permissions on the Project views.

Hello Paul. I tried this and none of those files were found. I am wondering
if the download installation for the activeX acts like it is occurring but
does not. The grid appears in project center displaying the projects but
when I click on it the system does not respond. I am an administrator and I
verified permissions to the views. My boss is also an administrator and he
is able to drill-down thru the project from project center. Any other ideas
or thoughts? Thx. Trish

search your harddrive for these files and run regsrv32 from the directory
where they are installed. They're typically located in the
c:\windows\downloaded program files directory.

Also check to see if the controls are disabled in IE.
