Project Central Server - Single Project Restoration

We have a Project Central Server with multiple projects setup to manage
resources and schedules. One of the projects was corrupted due to a dropped
VPN connection and we need to restore the project if at all possible. What is
the method to restore a single project on this older version of Project? I
have found the RestoreP.exe utility, however the description indicates the
utilty will only work for Project 2003. Any assistance would be greatly
appreciated.

Auggie:

Essentially, you need to restore a backup of the database to a safe place,
(not on top of your production database)
Connect to the database using ODBC and open the plan in question and save it
as an MPP file
Delete the corrupt plan
Import the rescued plan
