I'm using MS Proj Server 2003. I am trying to create a
custom "Project Central" view that includes project level
stoplights. I've created a custom "Project" view that
works well using an enterprise custom task number (which
basically references SPI or CPI). This custom "Project"
view also rolls up the stoplights to the summary tasks
including the overall project summary task.
The Project Central view displays the summary project
level both SPI and CPI values. I'm allowed to create an
enterprise custom project number that references the SPI
(simple equal SPI) but this column displays "#ERROR"
instead of the SPI value.
I'm sure that the problem has to do with mixing project
level fields with task level fields. But if that's the
case, why is the task field "SPI" available as a choice?
Furthermore there is no problem displaying the task level
field SPI in Project Central.
Bottom line, is there an easy way to show Project Level
Stoplights in a custom Project Central View?
