Project Check In/Out History

Is there any way to view a project's check in or out history? I know I can
see the current checked out date/time and "checked out by" in the Project
Center, but I cannot seem to find any historical information.

I do not believe that Project Server 2007 stores any type of running history
on when a project has been checked out and checked in over time. Sorry.

You could write a custom event handler to write this information to a custom
SQL table for reporting on this information. It does not do this out of the
box. Also this information is the the Queue history table as there are
project checkin queue jobs but no checkout. Another problem with the Queue
history tables are that they are purged after like 48 hours. You can get a
report of this information from the manage queue web page and filter for
Project checkin Jobs.
