Project check-in problems

Andrzej Jaworek

When I've opened a project in Project 2007 from PWA and I've a
unexpected system restart of my desktop computer. When I've returned to
PWA after restarting I can see that my project is checkout by me. I try
to open it via Project 2007 but I've a message that the project can be
opened only for read because it is check out. I go to Server Settings to
manually check-in my project but he is not on the list of check-out
projects :(.
I try to do it in a different way. I've opened a database
ProjectServer_Published go to the dbo.MSP_PROJECTS table a see that
values in PROJ_CHECKOUTBY and PROJ_CHECKOUTDATE columns are null ! :(

My question is: how to check-in my project??

I've lookalike problems, I was able to solve it by agree to open the
project once in read only and close the project file afterwards. Then
reopen the file and the lock was gone.

I've tried this. Without any results. Lock is still there :(

Have you tried the following:

From Server Settings go to Manage Queue under the Queue Heading

Filter type select "Projects"

Under advance Options select cancel job getting enqueued

Under job grid, select project that is locked (hopefully it's there) and
than select cancel job
