Project Checkin Prompt

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue. If a PM closes a
project plan by clicking on the "X" for Project Pro, they will get prompted
to save changes but they do not get the box that also includes "check in
project". If they save the changes, the project remains checked out. If they
cancel the save, I think the project is checked in. If they close the project
plan by clicking the "x" on the project plan window, they see the Save and
Checkin box. I say it is an issue because PMs are always closing project and
leaving projects checked out to them. Has anyone else seen this happening? Is
there are way to force the dialog bos to appear of the close at the project
pro level and not the plan level? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mas,

There are well known issues with just clicking the the X. The problems have
become less of an issue with SP1 and the IU but they still exist - therefore
train your PMs to use File | Close and then File | Exit - this reduces the
problems. There doesn't appear to be a way to for the dialogue box to appear.
