Project Column Name Text Size

I'm new to Project 2003, and find it pretty user friendly however I am used
to fasttrack Scheule and the way you change the text size, color, and
formating on column names is by double clicking the column heading.

Doulble clicking on any heading in MS Project brings up the Column
Definition Box, but there are no filed available for Text Size, color etc.

Are the column headings or column names editabl for text size, color etc?

Click the Fomat | Text Styles menu.

Then from the list pick Row and Column Titles.

Sadly, it formats all of them not just one.

Thanks, Brian K, and you are correct, it is sad that they are change
globally, I would expect that this would be different.

If you could answer this one it woudl help me out alot too.

Is there a way to add color to the fields or cells? I wanted to have the
tasks all one color so they stand out from the schedule bars but cannot find
where this is done. I've got books on the way to assist me in my transition
from Fasttrack to Project, but the little things I used to be able to do i
Fasttrack are proving difficult in Project.

Thanks again...

If you mean that you want all the tasks to have their text be one color
you can do that in the same dialog by changing the styles for Critical
Tasks and Non-Critical tasks. Or you can selecting whole rows in the Gantt
chart and right clicking and picking the Font. The same goes for whole
columns.

No, not text color, the "cell" color or fill as it is called in other MS
applications, are cells able to be filled or have a bacground color? Thanks
for your replies.

Oh. No there is no 'fill' for cells in the tables in Project. Sorry
