Project Contingency

I am trying to set up a project where I have two possible views within the
same project - one showing the contingency, one not. I have looked through
PERT, and can't seem to determine how to do it there. If anyone could help I
would really appreciate it!

GG,
Depending on what the contingency differences are, you may or may not be
able to view the data in the same project. If you are simply trying to
see early start versus late start for example that can be shown using a
split view of say the Gantt Chart with different view tables. This could
also be done in a single view using customized bar styles.

On the other hand if the contingency differences require different logic
connection for example, you can still do that but not in a single
project. Save the contingency view as a separate file and then either
open both files and show both using the Arrange All command (Window
menu), or create a master file and insert both versions as subprojects.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

If your "date including contingencies" can be set as custom firlds (Start7
or Date4 or;..) ontask level, Format, Bar Styles, will allow you to draw any
bar between two of these dates and you will haev a graphic comparison.
The Bar Stylese of the Tracking Gantt may inspire you.
