Project crashes on startup for one profile

Good morning all,

I have an issue where when starting MS Project Pro, it crashes every time
for one specific profile. The software offers to send the error to MSFT but
never comes up.
Connecting to a local computer or another profile works fine. I attempted to
recreate the profile with different names, and same URL, but no luck. Around
the time of the crash, the event log displays a problem with Project's exe
file pointing to
msjtes40.dll. I Googled the connection to see if anyone encountered this in
the past but no hits. As far as I can tell, the machine is fully patched and
this setup (with that particular profile) has worked for months. MS Office
diagnostics found a problem but according to the information - the problem
was fixed.
Has anyone come accross this problem?

What do you mean "same url"? Are you using Server?

Crashes are generally caused by flaws with the files that the software
needs--program or system. Perhaps un-install and re-install to repair
any flawed files?
