Project custom field not displaying in the cubes

Hi,
This is for project server 2007. I created a project budget id lookup table
and then created the field. I also added this field to the enterprise as well
as to the configuration and the field won't display in the field list.
Originally, the field was created back in October but we didn't have the look
up table. I also reran the cube. Will someone please help me? All of the
projects have the budget id added to them and this field does display in the
project center view.

Do not despair, my friend. Log into PWA with administrator permissions.
Click the Server Settings link in the Quick Launch menu, and then click the
Configuration link in the Cube section of the page. Did you remember to add
your new custom field in the Cube Dimensions section of the page? If not,
add it and then click the Save button. And then rebuild your OLAP cubes.
Let us know if this helps.

Thanks for replying so quickly. Yeah, I already did that before I built the
cube. Do you have any other ideas why it wouldn't show up?

I'm stumped. Do you see any types of errors in the Queue or in the
application Event log on the server? Let us know.

every project in the server has the new field updated?
i notice that sometimes when the field is not loaded in the projects it does
not apear in the cube

Hi Barbara,

May be a simple question, if this is a field that is migrated from
2003, can you please try creating a new field and attach the lookup
table to it and see? Also ensure that the options to pick from the
look up table are perfectly setup. I recall something from the
migration guide that says custom fields & values having issues in
migration, not sure this is the case here.

Hi,
Thanks for your help. Every project already has this budget id in the
metadata and we never had project server 2003 so migration is not an issue. I
will check the event log.
