Project Database Help

Hi;

I am using project 2000. I am exporting data from Access database to a
project database MPD. My finish dates look something like this;
finish:7/8/2004
finish:8/3/2004
finish:8/17/2004

the start date should always be the previous end date so that the start and
finish dates should look like this;

s 7/8/2004 f 7/8/2004
s 7/8/2004 f 8/3/2004
s 8/3/2004 f 8/17/2004

but no matter what I do project subtracts 1 day from the finish date. The
program is not allowing me to make the finish date equal the next start
date. There are no links.

You need to be more precise here. Project schedules to the minute. Your date
needs to include the minutes as well. If a task (using the default standard
calendar) ends at 5:00PM 7/8/2004, the successor to that task will start at
8:00AM 7/9/2004.

Likewise a task that starts on 7/8/2004 and ends on 7/8/2004 typically has a
duration of 1 day, but a one day task can start on 7/8/2004 and finish on
7/9/2004 depending on when precisely it starts.
