Project date limitation

It is probably not reasonable to have a detail plan so far into the future.
For such over arching big picture thinkers, perhaps Visio or PowerPoint may
provide a better method to create such broad timelines.

Actually Denis, I'd say humanity is safe as you cannot plan your 300
year robotics development world domination plan in Project.

Technology and social change is so rapid that any project conceived today is
highly likely to be abandoned as obsolete well before we get to the end of
the date range Project can currently handle

In addition to committing your 300 year project plan a project management
tool, such as Microsoft Project, you will also need to develop a succession
plan of who will manage this project after your death. I'm figuring that
your great-great-great-great grandson or grandaughter will be managing it
when it is completed. :)
