project deletion problem in Project webaccess

We are unable to delete a published project in project
server.we are doing it through Admin ->Clean up microsoft
project server Database link.But while deleting the server
is hanging and after some time it is showing a message
like "An error occured while deleting".So we are unable to
delete it.
Please help to solve this problem
