Project Detail

Hi!

I was able to publish a project in project server.However while im doing a
check on the published project, i can't view the project detail. It says :

There is no information to display in this view

Either the project manager has not published the project plan or there is no
information in the project plan to display.

I think i have the right permission because im using the administrator
account.

Pls help.

Marvs, try to publish and use Collaborate > Publish > All information
You may also should check that you have access to the Project views. (
security)
If this doesnt work, I would check if you get an spooler error when
publishing a project and if that doesnt show up, check the event logs on the
server.
Eventually we should identify the error

Hi Marc,

I have tried publishing the said project using that process, i believe that
I have the right permission because i am using an administrator account,there
is no spooler error and there is no error in the event log.

I've started publishing the said project using prjsvr sp1, sql sp 3, prj
prof sp2 ..now, I am using the service pack 2 of project server, sp 4 of SQL
server and project prof sp 2 and still receiving that inconsistency...

I can view the project on the project center, I can even open the said
project in project prof from my server(PWA) but i can't view it(project
detail) in PWA.

Hi MARVS,

hhhmmm, The only thing I can think off is that somthing is not right with
this project. I would save the project as an mpp file, then delete the
Project from project Server and re-import it via the import wizard. Then I
would try it again.
PLEASE NOTE: always make a backup of Project SErver before hand that you can
revert back in case it didnt work.

Any more ideas on this one?

I'm having the exact same problem. Permissions are correct...I've just
deleting the project and starting over from scratch and the same thing
happens. Every new project I create is this way.
