Project Error

I occasionally get this error in Project 2003...anyone have any suggestions
on how to fix?

No calculations can be performed now.
There is a circular relationship in task 1319 Online/Network – Alpha –
Improve (Tech) of “Panda First Playable Schedule.Publishedâ€. The successors
of this task refer back to this task or its predecessors, causing a circular
reference.
To remove the link that is causing the circular reference, select the two
tasks that are causing the circular link, and then click Unlink Tasks on the
Standard Toolbar.â€

You need to follow your chain of links. Somewhere you have linked tasks into
a loop so Project cannot finish calculating the whole schedule. Click
Window, Split
In the Task Form right click and select Predecessors and Successors. Use
these to help you follow the chain of links. If worst comes to worst, insert
Text1 column, and copy the contents of the Predecessors column into it. Then
delete the contents of the predecessors columns and link all tasks from
scratch.

Hi,

By all means, first remove links to and from Summary tasks as these usually
have generated the circular reference.
