project file won't open

a certain project server file doesn't open and i receive the following error:
[Microsoft]ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Line 1: Incorrect synatx near
','.
what does it mean and how do i solve it?

This could be related to using illegal characters in the Project name. How
did you name it? Did you use a comma in the name?

there is no comma in the name, but there are other illigal characters.
i don't remember wich ones...
