Project Freezes and takes long time for updates

Hi,

Either when I try to approve time, it takes like ½ hour to approve or it
actually freezes up and in the task manager it states “NOT RESPONDINGâ€

Also when I add a task to this project, add time and resource, usually it
freezes up as well, task manager states CPU Usage 100% then “NOT RESPONDINGâ€,
but again there have been a few times where I was successful in adding tasks
and time.

When it does the “NOT Respondingâ€, manually go back to project server, then
“CHECK-IN†project etc…

This has been happening for the last two to three weeks. This happens with
only this project, it is pretty big project with lots of tasks.

Any advice will help.

JungleBoy,

One of our customers once experienced a similar behaviour. How long does it
take to open the project from the server? If you can actually open the
project -- what I assume is the case -- go to Tool / Change working time and
check if the number of calendars displayed in the drop-down list is
reasonable.

Thanks for reply. Actually there are lots of calendar. It has creatd a
calendar choice for each resourcein addition to standard and IT calendar.

What should I do? How can I remove those.
