Project Gantt Chart Durations?

M

Marie Garcia

I am trying to hide the duration text that shows up on my Gantt chart when it
prints. How can this be done - I've looked everywhere and can't seem to make
this text disappear.

Do you mean the duration column in the task table?? Just create a custom
table with the desired fields in the order you want them and switch the
active table to that one prior to printing the Gantt chart view.

Either Steve is correct or you have Black text showing up ON the actual
Gantt Chart like what resources are assigned to the different tasks (or bars
on the chart). If this is the case... simply double click anywhere on the
Gantt Chart and it will bring up a "Bar Styles" dialogue box. At the bottom
there are 2 tabs "text" and "bars". To change what your chart looks like
use the "bars" tab, and if you ONLY want to see the bars and NO text on your
chart simply delete all values showing up under the "text" tab. Or just
delete the one showing the duration that you want to remove.... in any case
either Steve solved your problem or this may. Please let us know if you're
all set, or provide more information for a better answer.

Thanks
