Project Graphic Indicator

I sure hope someone can help me because I'm stumped. I'm not sure how
much of the information found below you'd need but I'm putting
everything I can think of that would seem to be relevant. I am new to
Project Server (in case that's not readily evident ;-) ).

I want to have "stoplight" indicators for the status of projects (red,
yellow, green lights). I found how to do the graphic indicators and
set up the Enterprise Task 1 field so that it would display such based
upon the value of my SV%. All is well there and when I check the "Task
Summary" view, everything looks great. Each task has its own indicator
and it's correct. And the overall project summary task (i.e.,
ProjectName.Published, line 0) is correct.

But then I go back out to the Earned Value view in Project Center and
there's no graphic indicator. Okay, I figure... I just haven't set up
the view. So I go to manage my views and can't get to my Enterprise
Task 1 field from there. So I figure I'll use Enterprise Project
Number 1 and set it equal to my Entrprise Task 1 field. So I do that.
And in Project Professional (desktop), it seems to work. The stoplight
in that field (Project Number1) is the same for every task and is the
same color as the Enterprise Task 1 field stoplight in the project
summary task.

But I go back out to PWA (project web access?) and the stoplight is not
correct. It's not the same one as was found in Project Prof.

I'm going to look over things again to make sure I haven't mistakenly
added the wrong field somewhere. But does that sound like the right
way to do it? Or am I missing something?

Thanks!

After creating the Enterprise Project Number1 field, I believe you need to
republish your project using Collaborate - Publish - Project Plan to "push"
the latest project data to PWA. Hope this helps.
