Project Hangs

I have a client who uses Project 2000 on Windows NT.
Frequently, Project hangs and they receive a Dr. Watson
error. They have 512M of memory and 1700 tasks. Any ideas?

Probably related to NT and some hardware device and not specifically
related to (or fixable) via Project. Check the event log for clues.

Any chance to upgrade to Win 2000 or Win XP?

Do they use resource pooling?
Do they use Leveling?

They use Leveling on a daily basis. There's no pattern as
to when Project hangs.

Hi,

If there are no Resource Pools ivolved and the hanging is not linked to
leveling I give up.
