Project Hours always changes

I've got this large Project file with each task having "fixed units".

However, sometimes when I'm either marking a task as 100% complete in the %
Work complete column, or if I'm adding another resource, one of the task
hours get screwed up with my project file's total number of hours.

What should I do?

Hi,

In your other post, you give an example, ant that we can explain.
Nothing gets "screwed up", some data get recalculate accoirding to
pre-established formulas and user settings.
And when you expliian please specify what you men by "hours": duration (the
time during which there is any work ion the tak) or Work (the work hours)
whereby Work=duration * Units.

What should I do?

Is the issue that when you mark a task 100% complete the remaining work
gets converted to actual work?

If that is what is happening, then you should set remaining work to 0 in
order to complete the task.
