Hello,

We have EPM 2007.

I found out that the Project ID is a very long number (more than 30
characters).
I want to change this number to something else. the need is an interface for
other systems.

Any idea ?

The Project ID is generated automatically and is used in many places in the
database. I do not think it is feasible to be changing it.
You could use a project custom field which would allow you to input whatever
number you like and which could serve as the link. Or you could use your
number as the project name... there are a few other ways this could be done.
