Project licenses going fast

I am having some issues with MS Project 2002. We only
have 40 licenses of Project and 250 machines so I just
did a network install of Project from our server on our
image. Well, after I ghosted all of the machines and
students started using Project it was working fine. Then
one day when there were two classes with about 45 people
total. Of the 45 only 30 were allowed to start Project.
We did some research and it turns out, anytime someone
starts up another Office product (i.e. Word) it counts as
one user on the Project share. This is a problem. Does
anyone have any idea what is going on and how to fix it?

The licensing counter in 2002 is not correct. Just increase the number
of licenses in Project Server to a very high number. Then just make
sure that you as a company do not have more physical machines
connecting to Project Server then you have CALs for.

A CAL is for a physical machine NOT for a user.

I hope this helps.
